I am Dr. salma waqas . today I am going to discuss how you can lose weight by improving digestion . …improper digestion is a big reason of obesity . if your food is not properly digested ,it means nutrients are not completely absorbed by the body … ..it will make your body weak ,stressed ,lead to physical and mental health issues . ..your all physical as well as mental activities disturbed . most people are obese because of improper digestion and they even don’t know about it ….. …. if your stool is hard (constipation),gassiness ,abdominal swelling (bloating )….. …ulcer or acid reflux … nausea .,…. …loose stool … it means your digestion is not proper . it will lead to more and more weight gain … so you must turn ON your digestive system by simple ways …… …these are the steps we all are ignoring … if you are tired then you always want a quiet and comfortable place to sleep to overcome your tiredness …… same is with our digestive system ,our body needs a proper mode to digest maximum food . …our digestion is controlled by our nervous system . autonomic nervous system has two parts …. …one is PNS ,where maximum digestion occurs ,our body is in rest and digest position . ….diring this maximum blood circulation to the digestive system ,means proper digestion . …more secretion from salivary glands .(sorry salivary gland don’t increase ,saliva increases ). so maximum absorption of food our body must be in this mode ,before ,during and after eating food . …this is PNS …(parasympathetic nervous system ). …other is symptomatic nervous system .or fight or flight setting . …body is stressed ,nervous ,busy .less blood to digestive system . …this is the time when we don’t give time to eating . or we are more interested in mobile ,TV ,computer during eating . that lead to less absorption and overeating , leads to weight gain . …lets talk about the ways to improve digestion ,activation of PNS ,proper and healthy eating . to activate PNS … ….DEEP BEATH BY NOSE before eating …. …avoid breathing by your mouth that will happen when when we are tired and stressed .this will lead to less digestion . ….close eys and take 2 to 3 deep breathe by nose … this is very simple and effective way to make your body relax and activate PNS ,more digestion . …body will prepare itself for more proper digestion . if you have stomach problems then …… .take 1 tablespoon of APPLE CIDER VINEGAR (organic ) in small amount of water ,15 minutes before meal . …it will activate enzymes and juices that involve in breakdown of food .. we often listen that pay attention to your food or don’t do anything during eating …..what does it mean …. …this is related to MINDFUL EATING .. ..when you eat food look at your food ,notice its colour ,smell it ,feel texture of each bite ,taste it ….. when you use all your 5 senses during eating this is called mindful eating …. this will activate (PNS) digestion …. we often listen this advice that we should eat in a setting position ….. …when you sit down it will make you relax and more digestion of food occur . chew every bite 32 times ….(for detail see my video REMEMBER 32 I WILL MAKE YOU THIN )… ….this will prevent overeating and make you thin . drink tea after 30 minutes of meal . …..ginger tea ,peppermint tea or green tea . …it will improve health of your digestive system ….. go for exercise and increase physical activity . these are all steps to improve your overall health and digestion …….
