Health and wellness Sundays

good afternoon welcome into health and wellness Sundays Stella here health and wellness life coach and sunny offered to help Florida today we're taking out just move that letting club hearings and health and wellness I mean just move athletic club anyway I changed my format a little bit I'm not going to do the exercise I thought I was going to do I have gotten its beach weather right now it's really hot too but I've gotten questions on how to lift and tone and tighten the booty anyway all of you each bunnies out there should have been getting your buddy Bob reading a lot of all swinter long and steady until now but it's not too late you can work start working now and you can work the whole winter through so that next year when you put on that sexy little thing suit you're gonna look fabulous and leave a lasting impression as you saunter by and away anyway I'm gonna be talking about vitamins I'm only gonna be covering a few the fat-soluble because I don't want to keep this long and boring for you then next week we'll move on to a few other vitamins so anyway vitamins what are they what do they do vitamins are organic compound and they're needed in small quantities to sustain our lives our body does not produce enough or some of them not at all so they must come from the food example vitamin C we cannot produce vitamin C and that's a water-soluble so we must consume that one dogs and cats they don't need to synthesize vitamin C they get it naturally anyway I'm going to be talking about the different vitamins and have the different roles they have in our bodies but today I'm only going to cover vitamin A and vitamin D depending on the length of time and anyway there are 13 known vitamins and water-soluble our fat soluble the fat soluble goal they're easier to store they store in our fatty tissue and in our liver but they are essential for our life and they contain the reason they're called organic the vitamins is because they contain carbon so they're known as organic because of this anyway vitamins they are essential for a normal metabolism of our body if you don't get enough of any kind of one vitamin that contains the certain medical conditions can result from the deficiency the fast soluble as I said storing your fatty tissue and in your liver and the fat soluble Tsar vitamin A D and K we're going to cover vitamin A right here and your fat soluble that are absorbed in the intestinal tract and if you overdose on them they can cause toxicity in your system so anyway vitamin A is a retinol a carrot carotenoid or beta-carotene as you would probably have heard that term before and understand it and they're essential for eye health bone growth tooth development our teeth are a living and they do constantly replenish themselves provided we provide them with in proper nutrition and proper dental health and in the beetle for bone development bone growth and region you know our new system and cell division and Jean impression skin eyes and mucous membrane that give moisture in our skin eyes and mucous membranes that's vitamin A and the sources are carrots broccoli sweet potatoes kale spinach greens leafy greens pumpkin cantaloupe melon and apricot so you can get that vitamin A in there the deficiencies if you don't get enough vitamin A is night blindness because it has a lot to do with your eyesight dry eyes rough skin decreased resistance to infections faulty tooth development slower bone growth now if you get too much vitamin A if you're supplementing and you are overdosing on the vitamin A you got dry itchy skin headaches and nausea loss of appetite risk of bone loss with hip fractures and some medications that are used for acne psoriasis and other skin conditions contain compounds that mimic the retinol in the body and can impact bone health and delay growth in terms also if you are taking a supplement contains vitamin A you really need to check and consult with your doctor or someone he knows about it because there can be dire results to that if you're on a medication it can decrease the effectiveness of the medication or it can interact in a dire way with the vitamin A or the vitamin A with the medication that you're taking vitamins have you have a responsibility to make sure that you're doing the right thing if you're on diuretics if you're on any kind of medication for seizures if you're on any psychotic medications for mental illness or for heart you really need to check because lots of times vitamin supplements that are not being consumed naturally through your foods can have an interference and the results can even result in death so you really need to do that vitamin D most of our vitamin D is absorbed through the Sun vitamin D is Cantera contained ins in foods but in such my new a noun amounts that we do not get enough so if without sunscreen if you expose your arms legs and your your hands to the Sun or maybe 10 15 minutes 20 minutes twice a week that should be sufficient enough for the vitamin A you need that vitamin A B to prefer your bones to through your body to synthesize calcium and calcium is very very important not just for bone growth but a conduction of your nerve system so that you can move it can cause mental apathy if you don't get it there's a lot of things that can happen anyway those vitamin D and vitamin A are both fat soluble they are stored in the fatty tissue of your body and in your liver they can be stored there for several months or a couple of several weeks depends so supplements are good to an extent but if you're on a good healthy diet supplementation that it is just you don't need it if you're getting the Sun and you're consuming the vegetables that I just mentioned on the list for your health so where we cover the fat soluble today vitamin A and vitamin D we'll cover the other three next week and they will move on to the water soluble vitamins so anyway as far as booty lifting getting that nice lifted but we're going to move on to that for you one of the things that is very good for littler but talks and tightening and toning is lunges so I am going to go ahead and demonstrate a lunge I will push this over so I can demonstrate the lunge so you can see it you want your legs to be lined up with your hip sockets you do not want to be on a railroad track I mean on a tightrope you want to be on a railroad track for stability and for alignment of the joints you want to you can do it on the floor or you can do it on advantage like its way back you want to bend that knee come up on the ball of your foot shoulders back and down and you go straight down and you push through the heel of this foot and you come up you're gonna be working every single muscle from the waist down you don't want to be out of alignment you always want that good posture as you do the lunges the other lens you can do is a good butt butt lifter also challenges the balance is you can do leg lifts back and the weight is always in the heel of the foot engaging the glute of the supporting leg ah the other one that is really good we get down here elbows under knees under can you see my legs I think oh so anyway you lift and you can cross over and you can bring it up and you can pause you can point your toe you can lift to the side and in the doggy looks like a dog peeing anyway these all work with the butt you can hold it out here and extend you don't want to hyper extend your back you don't you just want to go up enough that you are feeling the contraction of the gluteals and you want to make sure that your head's not drop forward you got that good alignment you think it's called some people call it the donkey kick some people call it the Scorpion because you're holding your leg up there like the scorpion tail so anyway there are other names I just can't remember them all right now so anyway if there's anybody you think would like to see this video please share it with them and hit the subscribe button underneath please and we will be back next week we'll be talking more on vitamins and we walking you through the fat-soluble and then we'll move on to the water-soluble and I just didn't think this I just thought that everything I needed to say would have been a little too long and I didn't want to bore you anyway thank you for dropping in and sharing Partiers day with me and we hope to see you again please email me with any questions any suggestions at stellar mind/body at gmail.com that's ste ll a are M IND Bo dy at gmail.com and have a good day
