Hyper Sympatheticotonia, Digestive Issues, Anger – Antoinette C

(Music) Hi, my name is Tony, and I’m here today
with Dr. Tina to explain my personal situation and the results that I’ve
experienced so far. I have a condition called hypersympatheticotonia, and
as I knew it, as just a regular person, is that my sympathetic nervous
system was off the chart and parasympathetic wasn’t coming in to bail
me out, so I was on high overdrive all the time, and I reached a point where I
actually had a heart attack from it. It’s named takotsubo cardiomyopathy, and what
happens is the heart balloons because of the continued stress, and so, I was
told that if I didn’t learn to calm myself down, that I would die. I’m quite not
ready for that, so I sought out Dr. Jaudy, and to date, we are addressing other things,
other than just that, because there are many, many mechanisms in the
brain and body that come into play. So for a very long time, I was
experiencing food sensitivities and intolerances. There were a great many
things that I haven’t been able to eat for the past 12 years. I had digestive issues and
malabsorption issues as a result of that, and then I got very, very thin. I started
to drop weight, and I went down to a hundred and five, which is not unreasonable
when I’m five three and a half, but it’s skinny. So, classic type A behavior. I was very short
tempered. I was angry and moody, I had mood swings, so, and I was just really on high
alert all the time. I didn’t know… there was a point when I was younger, where I
was able to calm myself, then I reached a point where that wasn’t possible
any longer. When I went to the other doctors, regular
doctors, the allopathic doctors, they would, they would just tell me that
something was just the way it is, and that was it, or they didn’t know what it
was, or that it was all psychological and that a person who was having this
issue should undergo psychotherapy, which I did, by the way, and she told me that
really, I was quite normal. I just needed someone to talk to, and so, and then, the
other thing was is that they’ll just tell you it’s protocol. Well, this is just protocol. We treat it
this way, and… Same reason like they throw antibiotics at you, when you really don’t
need antibiotics because they haven’t tested for all of the other things, and when
I came to see Dr. Jaudy, he actually put me through a series of tests so that he
could identify where the weaknesses were, and we knew exactly what to address and
where to begin the actual protocol. One of the things that I’m probably most
pleased about is that after just seven sessions, I find that I’m much calmer.
I’m not explosive, and things don’t rankle like they
used to. I’m really, really pleased with that, and also what I’ve noticed, because
I was very frightened by what happened to me, is that I watch my blood pressure
and my heart rate, and it is very much more stable than what it had been,
because, initially, it would be off the chart. It would be way up there, and then
be way down, or my blood pressure would be normal because they made me take
beta blockers, but then my heart rate would be 75 or 80, and so all of that’s
coming down into a normal range, and I’m really thrilled about it. (Music)
