Pop Into Brixton’s Urban Farm to improve your wellbeing this Men’s Health Week



it's pouring down in London commuters are miserable and the only sound you can hear is the predictable thud of public transport in conditions like these is hard to find your way back to nature's greenery but here at pop Brixton there may be a solution you can escape the dreary weather and at knowledge Men's Health Week by trying your hand at some gardening and what we're trying to do Thursdays 10 to 11:30 where people can join us open gardening where we teach skills teach people how to grab food and have them join us to take care of the site we also try and improve people's well-being through the 5 ways to our bean so we try to offer activities which help people come active connect with nature and each other that's where we specialize so when we do have a site like this we can run the free workshops for people to learn how to grow food how to connect with nature how to take care of plants and just understand how they work we can have people come here for other reasons whether it's for food for for work they can happen across all this green and interactive plants they otherwise wouldn't and see where food comes from how it's grown when they might not be exposed to it before or would have had to have been out in the farm but mental well-being isn't the only benefit to gardening here roxana gone of the polluted areas of London what we do is when too many people gathered in the same area they polluted I think our plants will help create and enable people to breathe cleaner air so there you have it cleaner air and hopefully a common mind
