S02E14 Mental Hygiene



hello friends William with believe and limited here today topic is the mental hygiene and how I mean mental hygiene is how cleaner your thoughts how do you maintain your motivation how do you keep yourself going how do you release the mental chatter and the negative self-talk that we all experience and know you're not the only one we all experience that and as you hear more and more people even the people that perform at high levels they all hear the same negative voices and it's our job to acknowledge and move past those negative judgments and it's I think it was best said by Zig Ziglar and I'll actually meet it just so I get the quote correct is people often say the motivation doesn't last and well neither does bathing that's why we recommend it daily so your positive attitude you're positive inspiration that you received because you read a book or because you went to a seminar or our function or something you're positive excitement you're positive motivation you're driving you everything you have coming has to be refreshed and cleaned daily if we're not aware of it and we don't stay focused on it it does we get dirty and our mental hygiene is the most important so the tricks for me are continuing to put new input in and continuing to renew my vision and my dreams and and everything like everything that I have before me I renew it I read my goals daily I put things in front of me daily on the mirrors and my car and my wallet so every time I'm renewing unrefreshing that daily over and over and over again and that's how we clean up our our mental state and really our mental state is the part that truly affects every area of our life affects our body it affects our the way we come across it affects our confidence and it affects how we interact with people our mental hygiene how clean and clear our thoughts are are vital to creating change in our life and if we don't want anything that change we just keep doing what you did yesterday and if you don't like where you were at yesterday then change your mental hygiene today clean it up clean up your thoughts clean up your feelings your beliefs get happy and how do you get happy the toughest part about it is you decide and you start to be happy about the experience that you're having you create happy excited thoughts about the struggle you're facing you create excitement around things that are going wrong not because you're excited they're going wrong but you're in the mode of creating solutions to all the is going wrong in your life and when you create that solution you don't have to go through that experience again and you move on and you take a new step and you go one further and one further and then you'll do it over again and you'll do it over again and the good news is is you'll never stop this will continue all the way until the day you die whether it's at 50 90 150 you will continue this journey so when you get happy and excited about this journey you can live each day happy and excited and I'm not happy and excited every day but I'm a lot further along than I used to be and it's it's every day is an exciting place to be things don't always work out but that's not the point the point is being happy with the experience that we're experiencing and we can choose that that's the good news you can choose to be happy in any situation based upon the fact that you know that you're learning and growing and you can find purpose in the experience you're experiencing now and as you overcome things your problems will actually get larger and they'll get bigger because those things you created solutions for can pop up in your life and you go oh I know how to create solution for that and you do it and it no longer plagues you it doesn't continue it doesn't go over and over again it's not something you carry forward with you because you've created the solution so when we create solutions we get new problems because now we recognize new things that we want for our experience and to move ourselves in the direction of those we need to create new experiences as we create new experiences we now have new challenges new problems so recognizing that the challenge in the experience that we've had previous was fabulous because it's got us to where we're at and that now we get to take on a new experience and a new challenge ahead of us we can come to the place where we can be happy and excited about what we're experiencing and it's not pleasant it's not it's not always pleasant that we're experiencing but we can still choose to be happy and excited about the growth about where we're going with our life these are long lessons these are not things that we wake up in the morning and they're done by noon these are the some of the processes will be that fast some of them will be we know the answer and some of them will be journeys on how to find that next step that we're looking for and you can do this we all can and now is your time to take on the challenge of today and to be happy in the experience that you're having because honestly it's the only one you've got what you're living right now is your only experience you're experiencing your memories of yesterday that's that's past it's over it's been experienced we can learn from it but we can't live in it we can live now and then tomorrow our hopes and our dreams and our goals for tomorrow those will come if we take the challenge on for today so I recommend taking careful steps and reading good books and listening to good people and learning from people that are in a place that you want to be and learned to enjoy today so I want you to remember I believe you are awesome so you stay awesome and we'll catch you next time you
