  1. The problem with the hot dog tests is that they are not real life examples of what will happen with your finger. You might not lose a finger which is great but you would never want to test it out – here is a proper test of how good/bad the sawstop is – https://youtu.be/1wJQn_UGAKY?t=450

  2. Any product that has such technical depth as this one has HAD to go thru many iterations of trials and failures. A lot of hotdogs were sacrificed to get to that last prototype model that you took to the banker/hedge fund manager to get funding. NOW, the question is, did the inventor at ANYTIME put any of his personal appendages at risk to get the money? TMZ, where are you when we REALLY need you?

  3. but what if you stand closer to the saw and lean over it a bit? what can you do with an almost intact finger, if you have your head split from the chin all the way to the top?

  4. I can't believe the inventor of the SawStop actually proved the machine's integrity by putting his very own wiener in front of that razor sharp blade.

  5. HOLY SHIT that is one strong fucking hotdog!!!!!!!!!!! that blade stood no fucking chance, it saw that wiener n ran away like a pussy, hid underground like an ostrich, tapped that lil Hotdog n ran away like its tag, skimmed lt like a fuckin bag of milk, this video was sweeter than honey str8 from a bee's ass bro..should be viral.19 people who disliked this video have unfortunately lost their wieners…instead they should've added an extra inch to it so their girl would actually b in to it…. sigh

  6. I am buying one to help curb my overwhelming fantasy of cutting my penis off on a table saw.  This should give me half the satisfaction until I am sure I am ready to go the whole way.

  7. Rumor has it, that if the saw retracts and won't operate anymore, then insurance companies want to know what, why, and where did this incident happen. They may raise your rates. Is this true?

  8. As Hosua1999 said, it is real!
I was just sent this extra link, it shows how it works and a guy uses his finger as a demo as Housa said…

Search for this Youtube clip: SAWSTOP in TimeWarp

  9. For the people who says this is fake google it. Someone actually uses their finger for demonstration. It also describes how its made.
