this went from elevate chiropractic rehab that dr. Brittney here to help demonstrate woodpecker with rotation so this is kind of a progression from the woodpecker so I'll have her get into the woodpecker position so the good hinge that we always like to see with this one sliding the we're gonna right leg back here so you got a nice long straight line through here thinking I'm like 80% of the way to that front foot 20% on the back foot now we're gonna think rotating so she's gonna rotate her right hip towards her left hip and loading the outside of her left hip from there she's going to come back up notice how she's moving her torso along with her hips the big kind of compensation here is let's say she gets to her in grades with her hip and then wants to turn more with her torso we don't want that she could put a little extra stress here on the lower back so she's thinking inhaling as she drops to the inside towards that left leg and then exhaling as she comes back up driving through the outside of the left loop we can't wait to turn around show you the other side of that well some kind of review of what's going here enjoy your standing leg bags there we go so I'm coming back see the visual from this side she's dropping the right hip loading this out here her torso is not going too far and then she's coming back up let's go one more good tension in the hands nice and slow slower the better right there she's getting a good tension out here and using that muscle to drive back up perfectly alright stand up so that's woodpecker with rotation you
